See furniture making at The Mouseman visitor centre at Kilburn and traditional flour milling at Crakehall Watermill. Visit the Black Sheep Brewery Centre at Masham and see the traditional cheese making at the Wensleydale Creamery at Hawes. Take a ride on the steam railway over the North Yorkshire Moors,or the nearby Wensleydale railway. On market days browse around the various stalls for a bargain. Children will enjoy Big Sheep Little Cow Farm, Lightwater Valley and Flamingoland theme parks. There is horse riding, fishing and beautiful walks around remote villages. For a family day out, visit historic York with its many museums, attractions, shops and river boat rides. You will always have lots to see and do on your holiday in North Yorkshire.
